Welcome to the second week of the House's public hearings in the impeachment probe into President Trump's Ukraine dealings.
Last week offered some dramatic moments, such as when Trump tweeted an attack on former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch while she was testifying. But this week could prove to be more consequential as Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland, who was directly involved in talks with Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, is set to be grilled. Here's a look at this week's lineup:
Also this week, perhaps by Thursday afternoon, House Democrats will likely formally ask that the Supreme Court reject Trump's appeal to stop them from getting his tax returns. And 10 Democratic presidential candidates will duke it out Wednesday in the latest primary debate. Will Pete Buttigieg continue to surge? Will Biden maintain his front-runner status? Will Bernie Sanders seize momentum back from Elizabeth Warren? Buckle up!
