Charles Schwab's $16 billion purchase of TD Ameritrade creates a behemoth in the brokerage business. But it could also disrupt the traditional retail banking sector, which has been struggling to hold on to customers.   Breaking bond records. Despite recent outflows, bond funds are on track for record inflows this year, an estimated $130 billion as of November 14. If the year ended there, that would be the largest annual haul ever for fixed income ETFs, according to etf.com. What's even more surprising: The big winners have been international bonds.   Shifting gears. It's been a big year for E-sports with championships for titles like Fortnite and Dota amassing record prize pools as the industry continues to take the world by storm.
