While you're working off that turkey and stuffing today, Mexico's trade negotiator is in Canada hammering out USMCA details with Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland. Just ahead of Thanksgiving the two met with U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer as the three countries hope to finalize a deal, so it can proceed to Congress for a vote. Earlier this week, Nancy Pelosi said that House Democrats are "within range" of a compromise on the USMCA, but need to see the changes in writing.
If you live in one of the 14 Super Tuesday states, there's a good chance you'll see one of Mike Bloomberg's TV ads while you're home for the holiday. Brian Schwartz reports on the big money Bloomberg is already spending on advertising, the campaign's strategy, and how it differs from his 2020 Democratic competitors.
