A new report from Leanin.Org and McKinsey & Co. looks at the challenges women of color face in the workplace. According to the report, more than 40% of black and Latina women say they've been interrupted and spoken over in a work meeting, while a third of women of color say they've had other colleagues take credit for their ideas. According to research from Middlebury College economics professor Martin Abel, both men and women react more negatively if they receive criticism from a female boss. As a result, Abel says this can have a huge impact on the success of women in leadership. "Women bosses face more discrimination (from both men and women)" (Fast Company)
