But only Apple is in the Technology ETF (XLK). Amazon is in Consumer Discretionary and Facebook and Alphabet in Communication Services. CFRA's Todd Rosenbluth and others have been reminding everyone that it's important to know what you own when you buy ETFs. These four stocks can be found together in more sector diversified growth funds like the NASDAQ 100 (QQQ) or other growth-oriented ETFs like the iShares S&P 500 Growth (IVW). Todd will join us on ETF Edge this Monday at 1 PM ET to discuss. Telemedicine ETF launches. You knew this was coming. Global X has launched a Telemedicine & Digital Health ETF (EDOC) to capture the increase digitalization in the healthcare industry. It will invest in companies like Teladoc, Agilent, Illumina, and LabCorp. Jay Jacobs from Global X will join us Monday on ETF Edge to discuss. The first carbon futures ETF has been launched by Brendan Ahern, who runs the China-focused Kraneshares funds. The KFA Global Carbon ETF (KRBN) is on the NYSE in partnership with Climate Finance. This is being launched on their KFA platform (distinct from KraneShares) and offers retail investors exposure to the carbon credit market. Former Secretary of State and US Senator John Kerry is part of the Climate Finance team. Gold and silver ETFs (GLDU, SLV, and IAU) continue to see inflows. Curiously, the Materials ETF (XLB) is also seeing inflows, perhaps in anticipation of increasing demand for commodities as the global economy slowly improves.
