This Week We Tried: Kourtney Kardashian Barker's wellness gummies
Kourtney Kardashian Barker recently launched her own vitamin and supplement company called "Lemme." Its essentials bundle includes three different kinds of gummies: "Lemme Matcha," for energy, "Lemme Focus," for concentration and "Lemme Chill," to de-stress.
The gummies are made with "clinically-backed ingredients and formulations that help you live your best life," according to the founders note on the website. And all seemed intriguing to me, so I purchased a bundle and decided to give the supplements a try.
I consulted a registered dietitian nutritionist about the ingredients who said the gummies were safe and could be beneficial, but cautioned that the doses may be too low to make a major impact.
For me, the results were mixed. The Lemme Focus supplements were very helpful. When I took them, I often checked everything off of my to-do list and was extremely productive.
The Lemme Matcha gummies were pretty tasty, and after taking them for a few weeks I noticed them having an effect. I attended a four-hour art show and still had the energy to go out for dinner after, which isn't very on-brand for me.
The Lemme Chill ended up having the least effect. I tried them during high-stress situations like babysitting or busier-than-usual workdays; at times I would feel more relaxed, but they didn't do much for lowering my anxiety levels overall.
