"Black women with natural hairstyles are less likely to get job interviews" (CNN) The 22 young founders of the Black sorority organization, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., played a crucial role in the women's suffrage movement despite being discriminated against by White organizers. Now, more than 100 years after their march at the 1913 suffrage parade, their impact is paving the way for Black women who are political organizers and voters today.
