"We're going from emergency mode to building mode," Greylock partner Sarah Guo shared with Deirdre Bosa this week. She and fellow Greylock partner and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman are focused on investment opportunities for future growth. Guo says it's the "softer stuff: building culture, career progression, communication." Hoffman adds they're focused on modes to "invent your own workflow." They're looking to solutions keeping connections high and how to solve for the fear of "second class citizens" in a hybrid work world. They'll both be with us on Tuesday at the CNBC @Work Summit. Be there for their live insights taking this conversation a few steps further.
Also this week, we explored McKinsey's future of work forecast in detail. Of note in the report: some jobs may be eliminated permanently while others may be replaced by robots, among other forecasts. McKinsey Global Institute's Susan Lund shared her insights – Jon Fortt also spoke to her in a special edition livestream to take a closer look at the report. If you haven't already, you can watch that full interview to take solutions back to your organization.
We look forward to seeing many of you on Tuesday at 11:30am ET for the @Work Summit. Until then, have a great weekend.
