The usual round of predictions are being made, much of it around hot-topic areas like a rally in emerging markets, a resurgence of pot ETFs, another shot at a bitcoin ETF, and not surprisingly—whether Cathie Wood can continue her hot streak at ARK Invest, with some noting the rate of flows into the ARK ETFs is not sustainable if the portfolios remain as concentrated as they are now.

Thematic ETFs were one of the big trends in 2020, and it's continuing into 2021. Everyone wants to follow Robotics, Cybersecurity, Social Media, Clean Energy, etc. Global X has a good intro.
Flows into clean energy ETFs have been titantic. Maybe too big. Solar (TAN) and Clean Energy (ICLN) at new highs.
The S&P 500 is getting dangerously top-heavy. The top 5 stocks account for roughly 42% of the growth part of the S&P market cap, highest in decades. The top 5 are about 25% of the overall market cap.
